I picked up the Nomad 28 Plus Solar Panel to keep my phone and tablet topped up on camping trips. The detachable kickstand is handy for angling it toward the sun, and the LED indicator really helps you find the best placement. It charged my phone directly from the sun without any issues. It doesn't store power, so you need sunlight, but paired with a power pack it works great. The larger footprint does seem to speed things up compared to smaller panels.
