I picked up the 30-Amp External MPPT to speed up charging on my Yeti Tank, and it does exactly what the specs promise. With the 440W max solar input it brings the Tank to full in about 3 hours, which is a big step up from my old setup. The kit includes the 15 ft. High Power Port Cable, the 6 ft. Male EC8 Cable and the EC8 Clamp, so I had everything needed to connect panels and Tank without hunting for extra parts. Build feels solid and the 98% efficiency rating holds up in real use. IP43 protection is fine for my covered setup, though I wouldn't leave it fully exposed to heavy rain.
